Study

“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17

First Presbyterian Church values knowledge and understanding, both of the world we live in and of our faith. Because of that, we strive to provide opportunities for growth and study for all ages.

For the youngest among us, we provide nursery care on Sunday mornings during worship as well as during most special services. (ages 5 and under)

We also provide weekday care and preschool through Blessed Beginnings Early Childhood Center. (ages 6 weeks through 12 years)

On Sunday mornings we provide Children’s Church for preschool through 2nd grade. (age 3 thru 2nd grade)

For middle school and high school students, we have Youth Fellowship. (6th through 12th grade)

And for adults we offer a Bible or book study after worship during the school year (and occasionally a mid-week study on Zoom). We also have a monthly Craft Club that meets on the first Thursday of the month. This group gets together to work on projects independently but in community or to learn a particular craft together.

If you’ve never been to one of our educational ministries, please give it a try. We think you will enjoy it and learn a lot! If you have questions about a ministry or wonder why we don’t have a ministry that suits your needs, please reach out to us via the contact page.
